Caldaro extends at the slopes the Mendola, about 15 kilometers south-west of the provincial capital, Bolzano. Lake Caldaro is nestled in a sea of vineyards in the hamlet „S. Giuseppe “.

Arriving by car
Coming from south: A22 Brennero motorway, Egna-Ora-Termeno exit, along the wine route towards Lake Caldaro. Turn left onto the secondary road.

Arrival by train

Flights and low cost transfers
Low cost flights to South Tyrol from Bergamo (Orio al Serio) and Verona. Transfers by minibus to Bolzano from Bergamo (BGY) and Verona Airport (VRN). From Bolzano there are regular buses to Caldaro.
